What data and why

With the "List your business" form we collect the business details (name, address, contacts, website) and those of the person filling it in (name, email, phone, role). We use them to check the submission, publish the business listing and get back to you. If you say you are interested in more visibility, we will also write to you with commercial offers.

With the request forms ("Contact this place" on a listing, "Contact several places at once" on an area page) we collect name, email, phone and message, and forward them to the place or places on the page so that they can get back to you. That is the purpose of the form.

The data of the person filling in the form is never published. If the owner of a business is a private individual, the business address and contacts are published only with your consent.

Legal basis

The consent you give by sending the form, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where it is kept and for how long

On Amazon Web Services servers in the European Union (Stockholm). Submissions that are not accepted are deleted within 12 months; published listings stay online until the business asks for them to be removed. Apart from the places you ask us to forward your request to, we do not pass data to third parties.

To prevent automated submissions we keep an anonymised fingerprint of the IP address for two hours, not the address itself.

The site only stores one technical value in your browser to remember your cookie choice. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to count visits and requests sent, in aggregate form: no advertising, no profiling. Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies for two years and may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you decline, no Google file is loaded. You can change your mind at any time from "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page.
